I am an enthusiast who has been involved in photography for over forty years.

I consider there is no better training than to understand how light works; and the constraints of photographing on film and processing by home developing was as good a training as any.

The digital age was a blessing in that it allowed more time for the creative process without taking away the basics of photography.

I have no interest in creating a business from my photography but only to produce quality images that capture what is intended.

I am more than happy to discuss specific projects and requirements if it is something that will interest you.
Although I have been published in magazines and won various competitions, this was not through a competitive drive but to be judged on my work and to use it as an encouragement to strive to improve.
No publication, competition win or payment can provide more satisfaction than a quality image that pleases the client.
